Our Review
The Deluxe Edition is Eclipse Travel's premium tier of the same 10-day Sydney & Port Douglas itinerary. The route, activities, and eclipse viewing location are identical to the standard package — what you're paying extra for is upgraded luxury accommodation and premium transport throughout.
At $11,174 per person versus $9,043 for the standard, the $2,131 premium gets you hand-picked luxury lodges instead of standard hotels. If accommodation quality matters to you and you're already committing to a 10-day guided tour, the upgrade is meaningful — you'll spend a lot of time in your hotel.
The eclipse experience itself is the same either way: Bennelong Lawn, expert astronomer, eclipse glasses provided. If you're deciding between the two Eclipse Travel tiers, it comes down to whether the accommodation upgrade justifies the price difference for your budget.
